
We believe in hemp, so we try make stuff with it, wherever we can.
We started Cannada because the CBD products prescribed for a young family member’s autism were very expensive and had an unpleasant taste, so with the right chemical expertise, we created our own. As their condition improved, we became increasingly passionate about CBD and other extracts from hemp.

2022 - Our first outdoor hemp growing season
In 2022, we cultivated two hectares of Finola hemp in Takácsi, Western Hungary, which we processed by hand after harvesting.
The hemp hurd from our harvest found it’s way to a few designers in Budapest’s MOME Design University where they were made into plates using mycelium. The plates were used in the Michlene starred Salt resturant. The plates also contained our indoor grown hemp leafs as a pickled kimchi.

2024 - Foundation of our new production lab in the heart of Budapest
We outgrew our previous production facility and needed to get a few more rooms. We got some new toys too. We like new toys, and growing our operation by producing your branded CBD product will allow us to get some more.
2025 - First legal CBD gummies in Hungary
You know how food safety administration is. And you probably know they don’t like CBD in foods, since it is “novel food”. Yet, we were able to produce and introduce to the market Hungary’s very first legal CBD gummies.
